Personal and Professional Integrity

The World Culture Forum upholds the principles of independence, fairness, ethical conduct, and intellectual integrity. Advisory Council, Representatives and Personnel Are obliged to display sincerity, integrity, and transparency in all communications on behalf of the organization. The Forum is committed to fostering a work environment that values respect, objectivity, and the highest level of expertise.

Governance

The Executive Advisory is responsible for defining the organization’s mission and strategic direction, as well as overseeing its policies, research priorities, finances, and operations. The board is accountable for

  1. performing their duties for the benefit of the Forum and in support of its aims and objectives
  2. Avoiding or appropriately managing any conflicts of interest or their appearance through disclosure, recusal, or other methods in accordance with the Forum’s bylaws and conflict of interest policies
  3. overseeing the performance of the president, including an annual compensation review;
  4. ensuring that the president and appropriate staff provide the board with timely and comprehensive information so that it may effectively carry out its duties;
  5. Ensuring that the Forum’s hiring and promotion practices are fair and inclusive;
  6. Ensuring that the Forum’s policies are documented and properly adopted
  7. Confirming that the Forum’s resources are managed responsibly and prudently.”

Integrity of Research

To ensure that the information the Forum generates is of the highest relevance to our audiences, the Forum is committed to conducting research in an impartial, unbiased manner that upholds the highest standards of methodological accuracy

We use only those tools and methods of analysis that, in our professional judgment, are best suited to the research problem at hand. We present our findings and methods with accuracy and sufficient detail to allow external evaluation of our results’ credibility. We welcome inquiries about our research methods and practices and strive to respond to requests for information promptly. As outlined in our privacy policy, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy of individuals involved.

If reports are made by Forum employees or others alleging violations of these standards or misconduct in the Forum’s research processes, they will be referred to the President of the Forum, the Vice President of Research, and the Director of Legal Affairs. The Forum will conduct a thorough investigation of all such reports and will take appropriate corrective action if necessary

Disclosure

The Forum provides detailed information to the public and the media and responds promptly to all reasonable requests, including Indian Trusts Act, 1882. The information provided by the Forum accurately reflects the organization’s policies and practices. All financial, organizational, and research reports are complete and accurate in all material respects.

Non-discrimination and Inclusiveness

The Forum prohibits discrimination based on gender, race, colour, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, personal appearance, political affiliation, marital status, familial status, genetic information, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition, and any other characteristic protected by applicable laws and regulations.

We also take meaningful steps to ensure inclusiveness in the recruitment, hiring, retention, and promotion of staff.

Whistle-blower Policy and Non-Retaliation

Per the Forum’s whistle-blower policy, employees should report violations or suspected violations of this Code of Ethics to their manager, a vice president, the director of legal affairs, the director of human resources or the president. Employees who report such violations or suspected violations in good faith will not be subject to retaliation of any kind in accordance with the whistle-blower policy. Violations can be reported at ……….which is hosted by an independent third party and permits anonymous reporting. Reports will be investigated and addressed promptly and will be confidential to the extent practicable.

The Forum is committed to conducting its business lawfully and ethically and requires all staff to comply with applicable laws and regulations. These principles are crucial to safeguarding the Forum’s mission, reputation, and status.

To this end, we must:

– Uphold the Forum’s mission in every initiative we undertake.

– Protect the reputation of the Forum and its Members, Partners, and constituents.
